Mangel is a one-man melodic black metal project, which is represented by Marcel Levermann (also known for being the lead guitarist and songwriter of German power metal band Involution). The self titled debut EP has been recorded in a small student room, even though one wouldn’t probably guess that because everything has been put together with enormous care. “Mangel” consists of four tracks that incorporate catchy guitarRead More

What I do know is that they have an excellent taste and vision of expressing their darkened creativity. Back in 2013, Morar put out an EP called “Chants of Ossian” consisting of 5 songs in the vein of “sophisticated black metal” as described by the band itself. Short and very sweet.  After spending 26 minutes listening / reflecting on “ChantsRead More
